Editorial Standards

This page explains how we make coloring pages at Crafty Josh — what we publish, how we review it, and how we handle corrections, copyright, and quality. We've put this together because we think anyone using our site deserves to know what's behind it.

Who publishes Crafty Josh

Crafty Josh is published by Web Media Network, a UK-based web publisher. Web Media Network is responsible for everything on this site, including editorial decisions, content review, and how we respond to feedback or complaints.

How our coloring pages are made

Each coloring page on Crafty Josh goes through the same process:

Concept

A real person decides what subjects to cover and what each page should depict. We pick categories based on what kids and families actually search for, what works well as a coloring page, and what we think we can do well.

Illustration

We use AI illustration tools as part of our creative process. We treat AI as a drafting tool — like a sketchbook that fills in faster — not as a finished product.

Review

Every illustration is reviewed by a person before publication. We check that the page is age-appropriate, that the lines are clear and printable, that nothing has gone visually wrong, and that the page is actually fun to color.

Publishing

Pages that pass review are published as both US Letter and A4 PDFs, organized into categories with descriptions and tips for each.

Updating

We come back to existing categories regularly and improve them — adding new pages, removing ones that didn't work as well, and refreshing descriptions.

We think being transparent about AI's role matters. The category choices, the editorial decisions, the quality checks, and the "is this actually good enough to publish" judgment all happen with a person in the loop.

What we won't publish

We deliberately avoid:

Copyright and original artwork

The coloring pages on Crafty Josh are created by us as original artwork. They are not scanned, traced, or copied from third-party sources.

Some categories on Crafty Josh feature subjects from popular culture — for example, video games, internet trends, or well-known toys. Where this is the case, the pages are fan-made original artwork inspired by those subjects, and Crafty Josh is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the original brand or copyright owner. All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

If you're a rights holder and you believe content on Crafty Josh infringes your rights, please contact us at hello@craftyjosh.com and we'll respond promptly.

Corrections and feedback

We get things wrong sometimes. If you spot:

…please email hello@craftyjosh.com. A real person will read it and reply, and we'll fix things that need fixing. We update pages as we go rather than reissuing them, so you'll usually see corrections live within a few days.

Use of our coloring pages

Our pages are free to download and print for personal and classroom use. They are not free to resell, redistribute as your own files, or include in paid products. Full details are on our Terms of Use page.

How we use data

We don't ask for an account or an email address to download our pages. If you contact us, we use your email only to reply to you. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Contact

For anything at all — corrections, questions, copyright concerns, suggestions for new categories, or feedback on what we're doing — email hello@craftyjosh.com.
